Overall I love the ambiance here, the decorations are really vibrant and the sound level is perfect with soft music playing in the back. I got 3 dishes here, 1 was excellent, 1 was ok, and 1 was subpar. 39. Banh beo steamed rice cakes - this was my favorite. The seasoning was perfectly balanced between salty, sweet, and savory. The shrimp was excellently cooked and the blend of scallions and fried onions was great. 3. Bun Bo nuong, Grilled beef noodle - the steak tasted more like ground beef than a steak. Overall the taste was good, but the balance between the ingredients wasn't great, not enough steak relative to vermicelli and veggies. 46. Oc Huong Nuong Bo Toi, grilled escargot in garlic butter - taste and seasoning was fine, but the escargot itself was rubbery and had sand and small rocks in it. Definitely would not get this again. Service was fine but doesn't factor into my rating. My rating is just for the food.

Food was ok. There are so many options on the menu but the flavor was just so so. Service was good and friendly. This place is quite big and spacious but not too busy.

Pretty small restaurant with a selective offering of regional Vietnamese foods. We tried their bún riêu and bún chả Hà Nội, and both dishes are quite tasty with ample of greens and herbs.

Cute restaurant in Little Saigon with a huge variety of traditional Viet fare! I think it recently opened so they're still getting into their rhythm as service was a tad slow but very friendly and helpful. I like their creative plating ideas: a faux basket plate for their Bun Cha Hanoi and piping hot stone pot for Bun Rieu. Really good portions, good seasoning and prices are reasonable. Definitely order the fried flour cake cubes for appetizer- nice crunch and delicious!

Im not from OC. Came to visit for the weekend and my favorite Bo Ne restaurant shut down. Decided to give this restaurant a try. Service was quick. The food was good. I couldn't finish my Bo Ne and the Bun Rieu is also good.

Nice, clean, quiet, pleasant place with about 15 tables, nicely decorated in tropical motifs. We ordered Cha Ca La Vong and Bun Rieu Cua, both were authentic, tasty, not sugary sweet like other places, very good values with plenty of proteins, fresh lettuce and herbs. The menu is fairly large with many traditional Viet dishes. Beers and wines are avail. Service was pleasant and efficient. I had a tasty and pleasant meal in a nice, clean, nicely decorated place, where I would bring family, friends and visitors to sample authentic Viet cuisine. This place deserves a Michelin star for authentic Viet dishes with very good overall values, more so than a few other places that really butchered traditional Viet cuisine.

We came around 10:30am on a weekday and were seated right away. We decided to share a few dishes among the 3 of us. Bun rieu (crab noodle soup) and Cha Ca TL (Fish/dill) dish were good. The bot chien (fried egg flour cubes) was ok. The prices are reasonable, just $15 for the fish dish and I like how they serve with plenty of fresh herbs. I am not a fan of $2 for hot tea. There is plenty of parking and we received great service.

Solid Bun Rieu 4/5 Pro's - They definitely don't skimp out on the greens! Original -Uniquely served Noodles are plated separately which is a great way to cook your noodles to your preference! Soup comes outs out piping hot in a ceramic pot. Proteins - justified portions Cons- the pot is kind of small which may lead to difficulty in slurping up the perfect bite. Their broth is definitely on point, their mam Tom sauce bottle is very light which may take some time to alter the taste of the broth. Free beverage offered with yelp check in.

Authentic food here! I love the ambiance of this place. They decorated the inside nicely. The service was excellent. I asked a lot of questions about the difference sauces and my waitress answered them all and even made recommendations. What I liked most was the very reasonable prices. I came here to eat the bun rieu. The broth and meat is served in a hot bowl. The noodles and minty greens were on the side. This bun rieu tasted almost as authentic i wanted it to be. I thought it cocould use more deep flavors but the different greens really gave it that burst of freshness and made it more addicting to eat. My husband got the 10$ pho. He said it lacked flavor but the price was great. My favorite was the bun dau mam tom. That was very delicious. The sauce was good and it felt very refreshing to eat! I'll def be eating here again!

Yesssss I give this place 5 stars. So happy with the menu, the food and the price was fair. Nice decor of bamboos haha. First time here from friend recommendation, and I definitely give thumbs up. See photos. They are in plaza, next to supermarket.
